Program Fee:
Day campers, in groups of around 10, travel together to a variety of classes and activities, including Chinese Yo-Yo, cooking, swimming, and arts/crafts. In addition, they enjoy counselor-led events like Carnival and Fun in the Sun. The week wraps up with a Closing Ceremony on Friday, where campers perform and showcase what they’ve learned. Lunch and snacks are provided.
Program Fee:
Overnight campers, in groups of around 10, enjoy the same classes and activities as day campers, including Chinese Yo-Yo, cooking, swimming, and arts/crafts. In addition, campers engage in evening activities such as the Talent Show, CIT Dress-Up, Movie Night, and the Dance. Each night, they build close-knit friendships in hall groups. The week culminates in a Closing Ceremony, where campers showcase their learned talents.
Program Fee:
ExplorAsian is a week-long, overnight program focused on exploring Chinese-American identity, developing leadership skills, and fostering connections. With an intimate group of around 20 campers led by Residential Advisors, the program empowers youth to become community leaders while navigating the transition from camper to counselor-in-training (CIT).
Day camp runs from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Overnight campers stay in the dorms at Brandeis University from Sunday to Friday. Campers are divided into groups based on age and experience. Throughout the week, campers participate in a variety of activities, including Chinese yo-yo, Kung-fu, Calligraphy, and more. The week ends with a Closing Ceremony on Friday during which campers perform what they’ve learned. Watch the video to learn more about our programs and activities!
Registration Sample Day Schedule Sample Overnight ScheduleEstablished in 2002, ExplorAsian is usually a week-long, overnight program for students aged 14 to 16 who are interested in exploring Chinese-American identity and related issues, building leadership skills, and meeting new people.
